Confidential Sales

The Confidential Sales functionality provides the ability to restrict visibility of sensitive information related to transactions throughout Agentbox.

A confidential transaction consists of two key components:

  • A confidential offer record
  • An offer agent (as the custodian of the entire confidential transaction)

Permissions

In order for a user to access the confidential information - the following apply:

  1. Create Confidential Transactions - Allows the user to create confidential transactions. Allows the user to flag a document as confidential.
  2. Manage Confidential Transactions for Assigned Listings - Allows the user to view and edit confidential transactions of any listing they are assigned to. Without this permission, the user will only see confidential transactions that they created or where they are the selling agent.
  3. Manage Confidential Transactions for All Listings - Allows the user to view and edit all confidential transactions within the database.
  4. View confidential History - Allows the user to view (and create?) Emails, SMS and letters marked as confidential.

Confidential sale details remain viewable by the user who created the offer and the offer agent. However, it cannot be viewed by any other user without elevated permissions where the existence of the sale is not hidden, rather the confidential details are masked.
