Q: What listing status' are included in my Franchise Report to Head Office?
A: Commission received from Settled sales and Staged Commission Payments on Unconditional Sales are included in your Franchise Report. Adjustments to the gross commission on settled sales that have been previously reported are also included.
Unconditional and Outstanding listings are also included in the report as a projection of upcoming settlements, a Franchise Fee is not attributable at this stage and will do so upon settlement.
Q: What date am I required to submit my franchise return?
A: Generally, the first day of the following month for the month prior. For example, if you are submitting a Franchise Report for July, this would be submitted on the 1st of August. When you commence Franchise Reporting with Agentbox, a start date and a submission deadline will be determined.
Q: Why does my franchise return show commission split not yet saved in red against properties?
A: The report is indicating that you have not entered or saved the commission splits against the commission tab of the listing card. You are unable to submit a franchise return until this information has been entered. To update, click on the address within the report, navigate to the commission tab, enter the commission splits and save. To regenerate the saved information into the report click Report Results at the top of the report panel.
Q: What email address does my franchise return come from?
A: The report will be sent from the email address of the user submitting the report.

A: If the sale fell over in the same month it was exchanged, no it will not appear in the report.
A: If the sale fell over after it has been previously reported, it will be included in your franchise return for record-keeping purposes.
Naturally, as no commission was received for the fallen sales, a fee will not be applied.
A. If an unconditional sale fell over after an early release of the commission has been received, the sale will be removed from awards and recognition reporting. The Financial Year to Date figures will still reflect the income from the part payment or early release.
Q: When franchise reporting is enabled, can I enter my historic sales into Agentbox?
A: Yes, however, these will need to be excluded for your next franchise report. If they are not excluded, the system will recognise these as new attributable sales and a franchise fee will be automatically calculated against these listings. If you are seeking to add historic sales to your system, all listings will need to be added to your system by the 15th of the month. A list of the sales will need to be provided on or before this date to support@agentbox.com.au so they can be manually excluded before the end of the month when your next franchise return is due. If you would like further information on this process, contact our Support team via the above email address.
Q: I have made a mistake in my franchise report after I have submitted it, can I have it re-opened to edit and re-submit?
A: No, once a Franchise report has been submitted no further changes can be made. Any changes to the commission tab of a settled listing can be made and will reflect as an Adjustment in your next return.
Refer to Adjustments.
