Managing SMS Template


 

This article will cover managing sms templates, including creation, sharing, editing and deletion.

Creating and Sharing SMS Templates

 

 

 

1. Click the SMS icon    at the top of the property, contact or Advanced Search Results.


2. Select SMS Merge/Template from the drop-down box.


 

3. Create your SMS Template. Add the variables using the Add Merge Field icon. (Contact information only)  

 

 

4. Select Save Template

 

 

5. You can now create the template name and categorise if needed. Templates can be User-specific (shared only between team members) or available to the entire office.

 


 

6. Select Create to save the template.

 

 

 

Edit SMS Template

 

 

 

 

1. Open a contact or property card, click on the SMS icon, then select SMS Merge / Template. 

 

 

2. Select the template that needs to be edited. 

 

 

3. Make the relevant changes, then click Save Template.

 

 

 

4. From the action dropdown, select update SMS template. You can also delete an SMS template from this dropdown if you are a master user. To allow other users access to the template, select Share to all staff.

 

 

 

5. You can choose to rename and categorise the template if required.

 

 

 

6. Click Update and the changes will be reflected in your template.

 

 

 

Delete SMS Template

 

 

 

You can delete templates created via your login. This change applies to letters, emails, and SMS that you have created.

 

1. Navigate to either a Contact or Property Card. Click on the SMS Icon and select SMS Merge/Template.

 

 

 

2. Select a template from the designated dropdown menu and click Save Template.

 

 

 

3. Once prompted, within the Action dropdown, select Delete SMS Template, and click Delete where designated to confirm the action initiated.
