Distribute SMS Access


 

*Note: Master users can only allocate SMS access to fellow staff members if they have SMS access. You MUST have credit available to activate access to other staff members. Master Users can issue another User with 'Send SMS', 'Send on Behalf of All' and/or 'Send on Behalf of Team' permission even if their own mobile number is not registered for SMS Sending. If that User’s own mobile number needs to be used for SMS sending, it must be registered.

 

 

 

       

1. Click My Office from the main menu

 

 

2. Type the staff member's name on the Left Panel and the staff member will appear on the staff results panel
 


 

3. Click the staff members name to open their staff card

 

4. Enter a mobile number on the Staff Details tab

 

 

5. Click Save

 

6. Tick the Enable SMS for this mobile number check box underneath the Mobile number

 

 

 

7. A pop-up will appear and an SMS will be sent to the mobile number entered with a code

 

8. Enter the code in the pop-up
 

 

9. Go to the Access tab
 

10. Tick the Send SMS Permission check box if the user is required to send sms

 


 

11. You may also like to issue access to Manage Office SMS Credits

 

Based on selected configuration this permission:

  • Individual User Config: Allows User to purchase SMS credits on behalf of ANY User within their Office/s or transfer credits between any Users within their Office/s 
  • Office-Wide: Allows users to purchase SMS Credits on behalf of their Office/s or transfer credits between their office/s.
  • System-Wide: Allows User to purchase SMS Credits to be shared by all users of the system.

*Note Office/s refers to the Primary and Additional Offices allocated on the staff details tab of their staff card.

 

 

12. Click Save


13. The staff member now has access to send SMS through Agentbox.
