Prospector In Database Search - Contacts
In database search allows you to search your database by a targeted core area, suburb or even a particular street and refine the search even further for example by property type.
Note: Contact CSV files can only be downloaded from a contact search. It is not applicable to the prospector module nor the advanced property search.
2. From the left-hand panel select In Database
3. Enter your search criteria
Core Area - Allows you to select the Core Areas you have been assigned. This must be selected when performing searches.
Address - Allows you to search by a particular property address. When searching for a Street a suburb or Core Area must be selected
Type - Allows you to specify the property type - House, Unit, Land, Commercial & Other
Status - Allows you to search by a property's current status - Not Listed/Appraised, Our Current Listings (Sale & For Lease), Our Current Appraisals (Sale & For Lease)
Period - Allows you to search by a particular date type - Last Sold Date, Appraisal Date & Listing Date
Range - Allows you to search by a particular date period
Owner Class- Allows you to search for contacts assigned with a particular contact class
Last Contact - Allows you to search for contacts by the last contacted date
4. Once you have entered your search criteria you can proceed to click on Search Contacts
5. Searching contacts brings up a view of the results with an emphasis on the owner’s details showing each of their related properties; those highlighted in Pink are the ones that match the search criteria you have entered. This view is useful when searching for your absentee owners or investors as you can see all of the properties in their portfolio.
Please note contacts in your database will only appear in Prospector if they have a related property attached to their contact card. Refer to Add Related Property for further information.
6. From this view, you can communicate to each owner individually by select one of the action icons next to their name
7. To communicate in bulk to all contacts select the action icons at the top of the search results panel
8. The search results panel is an interactive window that allows you to click on any line item such as contact name, prospect name, appraisal name, and be redirected to the particular record.
