Internal Referrals


 

This article outlines how to create and use the Internal Referrals feature. 

 

 

1. To create a referral, navigate to the menu on the top right corner and select + New Referral.
 

Note: Creating a referral does not require any specific user permissions; however, the user must have access to the contact being referred.
 

 

2. The New Referral pop-up will appear. The referral types available will be:

  • Thinking of Selling
  • Thinking of Leasing
  • Other

Select the required referral type. 
 

 

 

3. Assign To will allow you to select a staff member or individual office for the referral.
 

 

 

4. Select the Contact for the referral. 

 

Note: Users will only be able to select existing contacts they have access to view. The contact must exist in the database to be referred.

 

 

5. Enter the related property's details. If a matching prospect property exists, attach it to the referral; otherwise, add the information to the notes field.

 


 

6. Click Submit to send the referral. 
 

 

7. The referral assignee will receive an email notifying them of a new referral with associated property and contact details.
 

 

 

8. The referral assignee will be granted access to the contact and property records and assigned a task to prompt them to make contact with the referral contact.


 

9. If the assignee has push notifications enabled from the Mobile App, they will receive a notification and will be able to view the action and task from their device.
