Microsoft 365 (With Exchange) Sync Configuration



*Note: If you do not see the 'Microsoft 365 (Office 365)' option in the Connections tab, please contact a Master User
 

Important: If you are managing this on behalf of other users, please ensure you are not signed in to a Microsoft account in the same browser before proceeding. You can confirm this by opening https://outlook.office.com in a new browser tab, and signing out of the Microsoft account. Once you have completed the setup for a user, ensure that you sign out of that user's Microsoft account before moving on to the next user. 

 

 

1. Click My Office from the main menu


 

2. Type the staff member's name on the Left Panel and the staff member will appear on the staff results panel.

  • Click the staff member's name to open their staff card

 

3. Click the Connections tab and select Microsoft 365 (Office 365) 

*Note: If you would like the staff members to manage their own settings, select the designated checkbox.

 

4. Select Microsoft 365 (Office 365) from the selection dropdown menu and then click Connect.


 

5.  Sign in to your Microsoft account and click next.

*Note: If your account cannot be found, please try using your Microsoft tenant username instead of your email address. This normally ends with ".onmicrosoft.com". If you do not know what this is, please contact your Microsoft solution provider or email/IT administrator.

 

6. Click Accept 


7. You will now be connected. If you no longer wish to use the feature, click Disconnect
Please Note: The sync is not completed and information will not feed into your calendar until you change the sync status from "Disabled" to "one-way" or "two-way sync". More information outlined in the step below.


 

8. Exchange Contacts Configuration:

  • Sync Status - Select one-way or two-way sync
  • Sync Contact Class - Select the contact classes you wish to sync and whether you wish to retain or delete contacts in the exchange that have been removed from Agentbox
  • Sync Contact Ownership - Select Primary Owner Only from Custom/Special Class to restrict to Primary contacts only. If not selected, it will sync all contacts the agent is assigned to as Primary Owner, Full Access or View Only. 
  • Sync Option - Select whether you wish to retain or delete contacts in Exchange that have been removed from Agentbox.


 

9. Exchange Calendars Configuration

  • Sync Status - Select one-way or two-way sync
  • Sync Option - Select whether you wish to retain or delete completed entries in Exchange. Tick options if you would like tasks to appear in your Exchange Calendar, and if you would like appraisal and inspection times to display.

 

10. Exchange Tasks Configuration

  • Sync Status - Select one-way or two-way sync
  • Sync Option - Select whether you wish to retain or delete complete tasks in Exchange, that have been completed in or removed from Agentbox.

 

Please Note: If you have changed the sync status and the information is still not feeding across, you will be able to perform a force sync by clicking:

  • Sync Contact Now
  • Sync Calendars Now
  • Sync Tasks Now
