Recording Referral Fees for External Conjunctional Sales
For reporting purposes, you can process commission details for a listing that you have sold from an external office.
*Note: If you have a branch system and have sold another listing within your group, please refer to the Internal Conjunctional Sales page.
1. Follow the steps to Add a New Listing.
*Note: Do not change your property status to Available. It should remain as 'Offline' until you process the sales.
If you do not want this listing to appear in the sold section of your website or other marketing ensure you tick Hidden Listing on the General Tab.
2. Click the Agents & Contacts Tab, Assign the Selling Agent under the Selected Agents section. Assign the Conjunctional Agent and Vendor as related contacts in the Agents and contacts tab
*Note: the Conjunction Agent will need be to added into the system as a Contact Card with the contact class - Conjunctional Agent.
3. Click Add and then click Save
4. Add an offer via Offers/Contracts Tab and process the sale through to Exchanged/Settled.
*Note: Ensure you tick Hidden Listing on the General Tab of the listing card if you do not want the sale to appear in your recent sales on your website or included in Property Alerts and marketing.
5. Access the Listing Card > Agents and Contacts > Commission
6. If not already actioned as part of Mandatory Commission Splits, click + to add external conjunctional agents. When all external conjunctional agents and offices have been added, set the split between the external office and your internal office
7. Click Save Commission.
Proceed to allocate commission to agents within your office to reflect the conjunctional fee as applicable.
