Generate Sales Advice
The sales advice templates are fully editable by Master Users with the ability to specify merge field fall-backs - which are already being utilised in the default templates to:
- Display the Office Phone against the agent details if the Agent Phone is not available.
- Display As per contract if Inclusions are not specified in the Offer/Contract.
- Display As per contract if Offer Comments are not specified in the Offer/Contract.
- Merge field fall-backs can be specified by using the pipe | character in between any merge field and the text that you want to display if the merge field cannot be populated.
1. Search for your Property and open the property card
2. Ensure the Selling Agent, Vendor, Vendor Solicitor, have been added to the property via the Agents & Contacts tab and any other data required for your sales advice templates
3. Submit an offer in the Offers and Contracts tab to attach the buyer and buyer solicitor
4. Click the Letter Generator action icon or the Letters button at the bottom of the Offers & Contracts tab
5. Select the Purchaser or Vendor Sales Advice template from the Select a Template drop-down. Depending on your office set up you might have separate templates for purchaser and vendor sales advice or you might just have one
6. Click Save & Proceed
7. You can now modify the contents of the letter. By default, the contact details, sale price etc should be pulled from the contact cards and the property status. However, you can manually complete any missing information or adjust the contents of the letter at this point. All missing Variable data is highlighted as follows: #SOLD_DATE#
8. Click Save & Proceed
9. You can now click Print, to generate as a PDF download
10. Or send as a PDF attachment via email by selecting from the Distribution Method drop down menu
Additionally, Selecting Send as an attachment via Email allows you to "Add an email Contact" and/ or "Add a Recipient" when sending sales advice.
